Does anyone have a recommendation of a Bluetooth meat thermometer? The free one I got from Weber is garbage.

I recently orderd the Oprol Bluetooth Meat Thermometer and its supposed to be in today. Comes with 6 meat probes that can all run at the same time.
Buddy talked me into it and loves his.

Go with a wifi connected one. I have the iGrill and don't like the range I'm limited to. I can't take my phone with me to the kitchen or anywhere except the living room. Whenever it loses signal I have to exit the app, turn the device off, then turn them back on. It is a pain. It is a shame because the app for it is great.
Wifi will give you free roam as long as you still have a signal.

igrill is shite. i end up leaving the phone on the balcony above my smoker because if it disconnects from BT sometimes its difficult to get it back.
wifi is the way to go. forget bluetooth for remote temp monitoring. it will only frustrate you.

I got one that looks exactly like this but branded "Solis" off of woot.com for $39 a while back.
It works very well, but I don't stretch the range too much. I don't know why anyone needs 6 probes, the most I've used is 4 cooking Thanksgiving dinner.

Ya, I paid just over $50. My gameplan is to just use one or two probes at a time and if any go out I can use the others as backups

I picked up the Thermoworks Signal 4channel last week and love it (it’s both WiFi and Bluetooth). I do think it would be nice to have a dedicated wireless remote sometimes because it is can get aggravating opening/closing the app multiple times but other than it’s been great.

Use Opral a good bit. I agree about spending the money to get WiFi. Opral isn’t bad but there are times I leave the house during long smokes and want to keep a watch.

Inkbird are good entry level Bluetooth thermometers and have over 1k+ feet range. I just bought the Smoke X4 and got it in yesterday. I feel like Thermoworks quality is just a notch above Inkbird. But I use an Inkbird at least once a week on my kettle.

Got a Meater for my birthday and have been very happy with it.
