Brisket better at CCBBQ

I cannot disagree more. The past two times I've ordered brisket at CCBBQ it's been dryer than Saharan pussy.

I actually got the Moe's BBQ brisket special last night and even that was probably 10x better than the brisket at CCBBQ.

It's a shame he acted like such a fool on social media.

I just looked up and read that he was pulling that "running out of meat" weak arse bullshiite at CC...

He's prolly pushing a lucky dog cart at this point

Does that brisket pic on the first page look dry to you?

If you liked Chef Robs stuff, I recommend checking out Smoked. It’s in Harahan right next to Kim Anh. Small space but the guy is putting out “real deal BBQ”. The owner Steve is from Kansas City and in a completion BBQ guy. Hate to even let out the secret as the place is already packed but it’s better than the mass produced BOB and CCBBQ

nice flavor, top piece was good, others were a tad dry. Not a fan of the chili.

Would go back as my sample size is 1.

I know Rob, send him my way. Bought BBQ out of his house. He's in SC right now though so good luck.

Nice, I haven't tried the chili bc i usually steer away from the stuff that is "repurposed". I would recommend a Friday for the burnt ends special. Try the ribs as well.

Ive only tried the baked beans and mac n cheese for sides, and I enjoyed both. You can tell they are homemade. Also, the cobbler his wife makes will knock your dick off

Appreciate the follow up review there Crescent.

I'm slowly wrapping my head around the idea that a BBQ joint is now on my list of Nola restaurants that I want to try.

I went to Smoked:By Steve about 3 weeks ago.

His ribs were really good. Pulled pork was good.

Nevermind. I'd never mess with a mofo crazy enough to do that.

Blue Oak is probably better

Both are good

If you’re going at night than definitely Blue Oak
