New recall includes chocolate chip cookie dough and cookie two step, in Louisiana and a few other states.

Hell yeah...
Their ice cream blows the alternatives away most of the time. I like them better than Brewers, Blue Bunny, etc... Sure there are other brands I haven't tried though

I was excited when they came back but their ice cream isn't that good. It's not creamy enough and way too sweet. I thought Cookie Two-Step was shite too. A new flavor by combining two existing ones? What a challenge!! Plus they sponsor aTm athletics. I'm out.

I'm not questioning whether it's good or not. I have loved me some Blue Bell. I just don't want to give them my business anymore, and haven't bought any since it's been back.

Sound alike a preemptive recall to cover a supplier's screw up. Will still buy Blue Bell because it's better than the others.

Sadly those yankees in Vermont make much better ice cream than BB. Better ingredients too... namely no listeria.
I know some will stick with BB out of pride which doesn't bother me either.

There's no listeria in any of the recalled product. Unless you have a link you'd like to share with us. Blue Bell is being extra cautious, as they should be.

Blue bell is by far the best textured ice cream to me. It blows Ben and Jerrys out the water when it comes to this

I remember a good ole (and old) country boy at work when Blue Bell quit selling ice cream last year. He came to work pissed off one day. I asked him what was wrong and he said his "stupid" wife had thrown away his last Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream.
I told him it was better to be safe than sorry. He said "No, she is a dumb bitch, I had already eaten half of it last week". So he had already tested it and it was safe, but she threw it out anyway.

The guy loves Blue Bell homemade vanilla and they had already quit selling all of their products. He was figuring out how he was going to ration what he had left and it was gone.
