Got a blackstone griddle for Christmas and just broke it in with a couple ribeyes and some onion smothered potatoes! I was impressed!

Gonna try some fried rice soon.

What else are some go to dishes for this thing?

I make breakfast on it often. You can cook tons of bacon and grilled toast for BLTs. Fried rice is the bomb and you can cook it in bulk. You can cook a mess of pancakes and sausage. Smash burgers are always a hit. Sautéed shrimp in butter.

Definitely gonna hit up the breakfast goods on it.

Smash burgers sound interesting.

Tried Philly Cheesesteaks? Assuming this thing would kill that!

Eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, hash browns (I've been making patties by mixing them with sausage, sour cream, diced onion, and cheddar cheese), Philly cheesesteaks, reubens, Italian sausage and peppers, omelets, teriyaki chicken and stir fried rice, fajitas, quesadillas, street tacos (I also do a breakfast chorizo and egg street taco), seared scallops and shrimp in a lemon butter sauce with capers, smash burgers, crunch wraps, grilled burritos, smashed fingerling potatoes. It's also fantastic for searing off anything you sous vide or reverse sear in the oven. I did a large tenderloin for Christmas and finished by searing it off on the griddle. It was the best I'd ever made.

If you can't tell, I'm in love with my griddle.

Tomorrow i'm having some folks over for the playoff games. We're doing a taco bar on the griddler.

Al pastor, carnitas and steak.

This is the one i have, it's really versatile. There's an entire cooking system built around it.

I've got two griddles on it that make up 608 square inches of cooking space plus the optional pizza oven.

The Blackstone is cool of course but if anyone is looking for something more versatile, this one's it. I love it.

Oh another thing. You can also get a grill box for it. I don't have one but they say it works really well.

Hamburgers are always done on it. I reverse sear steak and finish them on the griddle. I also do hibachi. Fried rice, steak, shrimp, scallops, veg mix. Try my best to recreate ichibans in BR and come up fairly short but it’s not bad.
