Out of Catfish, Swai, Grouper, and Tilapia what do yall prefer fried?
Went to a “NOLA” Southern Restaurant in Florida and they served Fried Swai. I felt pretty disrespected.

Damn I caught on as soon as I took a bite. I thought the differences were pretty obvious but I guess not if restaurants slide by serving it.

Ever had wahoo? It’s unrivaled in the gulf south.

I don’t eat any of those. Maybe grouper or catfish if I know the source. I usually only eat it if I caught it (very rare occurrence now) or I can identify it.
My vote is Red snapper.

I’ve never had Mako (only ever saw one in the wild and then at the dock), but supposed that is the best, maybe because of the rarity and captains are full of tuna and wahoo.

Grouper doesn’t belong with the rest of those

Catfish out of that list

He said fried dude. Not even you are going to eat fried salmon. You provided a average to good sushi or sashimi list.
ETA Wahoo is very good, but tripletail blows it out of the water.

Can't believe no one said lemon fish. Or cobia or ling, depending on where you fish.
