Best three sports bars within a ten minute walk from each other, FQ and CBD

Here's the premise...my buddies from out of town want to sort of bar hop during the NHL game on Wed, so they want to check out a different bar each period. Looking for nothing high end, just where you'd be if this were the scenario. Food comes into play as well. Maybe I should simply ask where to watch the game, with cost effective beer and good food.

In the FQ? Only thing I would recommend is Manning’s in the CBD area.

It’ll be hard enough to find a sports bar around there, much less finding a place that has hockey on
I’d try St Lawerence in the FQ and Rusty Nail in CBD

This/\. Hockey is not a big draw sport in N.O. and I too doubt you'd find many "Sports Bars" that would have it on their screens.
And I seriously doubt you'll find bars close enough to get to so you can view different quarters of the game in a different venue.

I'm sure Ryans will have it on. I've watched many games there. Haven't been to Mannings yet, but as long as they have the game on I might just check it out. The hotel room would have it on, but that's no fun.

Gordon Biersch Brewery is very close to Manning’s.

As others have said, you won't find much hockey on in the FQ. Go to Erin Rose and tip the bartenders well and ask them to put the game on.

Ryans will definitely have it. If you really want to walk but drink Duece's Tap Bar bar of whatever its called has decent beer and should have 1 tv on the game. Then I would go to GB and/or Mannings.
