The meme on this board is you are not allowed to enjoy a Sullivan's steak.
I believe the original genesis of the meme is that the steak isn't prime grade, but the meme has gone on so long, I think many aren't sure why they shouldn't like it, they just know they shouldn't.

No one is said that it's terrible or inedible, just that it's priced the same as objectively higher quality steaks for no reason.

No. You, personally, have not said that. It has been said many times that it is inedible. People have also posted this "
" in response to Sullivan's. Also, if my bookmarked posts are any indication, much much worse than my characterization has been said about it. So, to the extent you haven't said those things, I agree. To the extent you are representing that people on here don't do exactly what I said, I disagree. My best FDB advice is "I may not choose to like it that way, but I'm glad you have found something you like." I feel similarly about posts, "we may disagree, but I'm glad you are on here telling us about good stuff to eat."

That may not mean its inedible just that they are sick of people being duped into thinking its a prime steakhouse. Sullivans is a fricking scam for what they do. Most people go there thinking they are getting served a high end steak.

Those comments were just a sampling that I took a minute or so to find. There are about a billion threads on the subject to see what I mean though.

This is pretty accurate IMO.
Sullivans does have very good specials in the bar on Thurs though. But they dont offer them in the dinine room.

Yeah, Doe's was very good. It's been about 8 years since I had it. I can't believe none of y'all ever had Stroud's. By far the best steak I've ever eaten.

Stroubes is fine for a steak but it can be hit or miss there and you probably shouldnt order a steak on that menu unless its some great special like a bone in aged filet or something like that. Just too many other better options on the menu.
