I like George's, but Mike Anderson's actually makes a pretty good one.

Georges is OK, but I really haven't found one that's stellar. I can't find one that uses really great poboy bread, and then can't find anyone who just toasts the bread, not burns it, but toasts it slightly to get the bread warm and give it a little texture. I don't get this.

George's is one of the better one's that I've found. Not great, but pretty good. RIP Off the Hook. I've heard that Tommy's in prairieville has a solid one, haven't been. Poboy express and Roul's both suck, IMO.

Pastime makes a decent one too, but I haven't been there in years.

Tommy's on Old Perkins Road in Prairieville (across from WalMart). Loaded with medium shrimp, great bread. Yum!

If you ever find yourself out in Gonzales check out Mikes Poboys off Burnside down the street from EAHS. It's the best I've had in the area.

this must have started on the ot....you can tell by all the uninformed answers...

the 2 best i have found are

hawks nest (altough it could be bigger)
sherwood poboy

honorable mention is logan's farms on sherwood

all 3 of these are better than all of the previously mentioned shrimp poboys... ive only had tommys once though
