I mean, it’s good and all, but it’s no where near the best sandwich in BR.

Capital City Crawfish has a rb po’boy, river queen has a bomb oyster po’boy, most every sandwich from city pork is better, etc.

Darrell’s Special

Has to be the most overrated/overhyped poboy in Louisiana. Much like the overhype of Johnny’s as some great pizza place.

Darrell’s special is pretty great, but their surf and turf is clearly superior.

Y’all just go to Steins on Magazine in NOLA and pick one and we can be done with this. Suprised our potato chip heavy friends have not popped up.

I’ve had their surf and turf as well, and can do without it.

Seriously, Pop’s and Old Tyme are heads and shoulders above Darrel’s. As is Steins.

And for that matter, I’ll take the Half and Half fried shrimp and oyster poboy at BB’s in TEXAS over any sandwich Darrel’s offers.

I've never had Stein's, so I can't comment, but Old Tyme is really great too, definitely one of my favorite po'boy spots in this state.

I can't understand how Roly Poly stays in business anywhere. What a mouthful of boring.

I had the jalapeño tuna wrap at Liberty 531 in Houma today, and I put it in the top 5 sandwiches in the state. And sandwiches are my favorite food

In their defense, Roly Poly does have some kick arse wraps. $5 Fridays are a hell of a deal too.

You have OBVIOUSLY never tried the cajun sweep the floor pizza at Johnny's. If so, PLEASE enlighten me on the best pizza places in south LA?

Literally every pizza place not named Pastime or Little Caesar’s is better than Johnny’s. The Johnny’s in BR is garbage. Lit is better, Datz Italian is better, Domenica, Rocca, Deano’s, Mellow Mushroom, BJ’s, Marlin’s, f$&king Domino’s and Papa John’s are better than Johnny’s. Get outta here with your nonsense!
