I just had some at Pappadeaux’s in Atlanta this past week. They were phenomenal.

I remember the Bon Ton having a large fried soft shell with a lump crab topping that was excellent.

DiGiulio Brothers in Baton Rouge and it is not even close. I've taken over 25 people there and ask all of them to get the soft shelled crabs served over pasta. Never heard one complaint. I get it almost everytime I eat there, which is a lot during football season.

I didn't even know they had that there. How is this possible? Is it on the menu?

It is on the blackboard every time I go there. I've been getting it for over 5 years. If you haven't seen it, you haven't been looking.

Gendusa’s. They usually do it on Friday and through the weekend while supplies last. So good

Had a great SS crab preparation at Station 6 in New Orleans about a year ago.

Well damn. Went there for the first time Friday night, but never went inside. Sat outside. Never saw a blackboard.

The filet was pretty darn good, though.

I would assert that any place that always has soft shells is often not going to be a great place to get soft shells.
