hah yeah...I was being dumb.

I like Mi Padres on Bluebonnet, but I'm not sure it's justifiable to charge $6.00 for a bowl of cheese.

La Caretta and it's not even a competition. This is assuming, of course, you want the authentic stuff and not the microwaved Velveeta junk.

I like Izzo's because it is so velveeta-ish. I like how thin it goes on the chips.

If all cheese was created equal, people would have been serving diced cubes of government cheese at wine tastings.

La Carreta doesn't use the same cheese as everyone else. They order a brand called "El Paso" specifically for their queso.

I agree with La Caretta.
People hate on the place, but the ones downtown and on Bluebonnet are good IMO.

Their queso might be good, but their food is DISGUSTING. The fact that people in Central frequent this disgusting place just to prove their dedication to "dining in Central" repulses me.

Of the fast food type places i say Qdoba. Of actual restaurants I'd say La Carreta.

La Carettta's Queso is pretty damn good.

The rest of their menu sucks!

My favorite is the Queso at Mestizos
