Anchor Bar & Grill, is one of our favorites. It’s a really neat restaurant made out of an old pirate ship. It has a killer view, and since it’s on the water, you can either boat up or drive your vehicle to it. It has a smaller menu, but everything on it is Solid! A lot of locals go here, and it’s a great escape from all the “tourist-trap” restaurants. Check it out!

^this. Overall, Orange Beach doesn't offer much in terms of quality food. Find a grill and do your own. Or keep it simple and get raw oysters from Acme (if the wait is not too long)

Fishers Upstairs is reopening Monday, so not an option for this weekend. Dockside is still closed with a TBD reopening date. They took some heavy damage in Sally.

Louisiana Lagniappe is the best restaurant in OBA.
•grouper
•flounder
•cobia
Gulf shores steamer is also the best, but two different styles of dining.
•royal reds
•swordfish Sammich
We always eat both.

I worked at the original when I was on summers in college. The second one in OB was started by OG's owner's daughter after she sold to Eddie Spence(Mikeys and other restaurants), buts its a carbon copy. There is nothing special going on, but they get quality reds from Aquilia and use Florida bay seasoning in the steamer.

Probably get some steamed shrimp from Blalocks for our room, and eat out at Bahama Bobs this weekend.

Dumb. There are many good restaurants. Villagio, Fishers, FB Yacht Club are 3 that are fantastic.

Lots of good suggestions, but in case you get to page two, here's my take:
Ambience: cobalt. Sit outside. happy hour is not too bad on the wall that either
Simple food and a chill setting: the Gulf-the grouper sandwich in the burger are pretty damn good, and a great place to bring kids. Alcohol is expensive
Happy hour: big fish or cosmo's. I can't remember which, but one of them has a really good beer selection, think it's cosmos. They are sister restaurants next door to each other
Fine dining: Fishers upstairs, though downstairs is solid, food is excellent, and very chill.
Overrated, but still pretty good: playa and Doc's
Heard they're awesome, but have not been yet: sauce, and Steph's, the new restaurant to the left of walmart. Used to be Franco's italian, but it's something else now. Heard good things about both
Brunch: brick and spoon. Fork and Finn used to win this award, but they moved to Pensacola
Worth the excursion: some great options that are 45 minute drive away in Pensacola-
the aforementioned Fin and Fork
Maguire's Irish pub, well known but really cool, huge portions of great bar food and inexpensive.
Joe patti's, even if you're not going to eat there it's worth checking out. You can eat some prepared food there, have them cook your seafood fresh, or take it home and cook it yourself.
Gulf Coast brewing, neat little spot to grab a beer or two and take a growler back with you

I'll second Anchor. We've enjoyed our trips there every summer
