I'm just not a fan of thick burgers. I like the smaller patties. Freddy's is delicious with that crunchy outside.

Curbside was decent. Burgersmith was good. Walk ons is not bad. Red Robin is the biggest disappointment.

Your Mom's Restaurant and Bar at Lee and Burbank has really good burgers.

The Big Cheesy Lou at Louie’s is a good one.

And the next time you stop in Waffle House instead of cheese eggs and raisin toast try a cheeseburger. They do it well.

I doubt there were multiple Gibson's on Winbourne so that's probably it. I only remember getting burgers and tots from there. Granted I was probably 7-8 years old at the time so 1985'ish time frame.

Now I am doubting that this was the place. Gibson's Barbecue was open in the seventies down there near Winboune Elementary school. It may have lasted into the eighties but I can't be sure.

Burgersmith used to have good burgers now they don’t even try. It’s just over seasoned meat. Curbside or Walk Ons have the best burgers right now. J Alexander’s has a great burger too.

Superior has the best burgers

The first and last burger I had from Superior had so much breadcrumbs in the meat, it had the texture of wet sawdust. It was served undercooked, when I asked for well and it was dripping blood. It was absolutely disgusting.

I'll take an Ida Burger with cheese and bacon, sitting outside at a picnic table at River Queen in Port Allen any day.

The last few times I've been to Burgersmith it has been very meh

Overpass or Curbside get my vote

Overpass might have the best burger in town

They only cook to one temperature which is well to very well done. If you don’t mind this, they are decent.
