I spend a decent amount of time in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Orleans and Houston, so I'd like input from anyone in those towns

The newish 504 craft beer store on Tulane Ave in NOLA offers half price growler fills on Fridays.

Courtyard brewery. They will fill 32s, and growlers with other brands on the label, which is nice.

We went to Growlers in Houston a few years ago. It was great. They had stuff you could only get on draft.

Great to know, thanks. Looks like they have KBS on tap...pretty dangerous

Are there places that won't?
I have limited experience in this area, but a store with that policy would be very douchey to me.
I just had a Great Raft growler filled at Brewniverse. They didn't bat an eye, and I would have been shocked if they had.

Lots of place will only fill their own growlers.

The commonplace amongst breweries is to fill any growler, but if it has another brewery logo on it, you must cover it. I use painter's tape so it won't damage
ETA: to OP's question, Courtyard in Nola is a good spot, but only a select number of brews they have are available for fills.

Place called The Growler Spot in Fulshear if you find yourself in west Houston

Hokus Pokus in Prairieville. Selection is limited to 4 taps however they have Reve' on tap and two options from Southern craft. Corporate brew and draft also does fills. I figure they should know how to fill a growler.
