I evidently was mixed up on my pasta. I guess I'm thinking of Mini penne rigate (pennette)instead of manicotti. I'm not good with all the names, but I do know what I like.

For large groups I use bowtie or elbow, whichever is on sale. I've had good success with both.

I would choose penne. Bowtie pasta would be my second choice. Both are easier to eat if you are serving a large amount.

I'd use penne also. I don't like using bowtie for anything.
