I love threads like this as they make me realize how many bars I've never been too in N.O.
Several years ago a woman came out with a book about classic N.O. bars. She had the story of the bars and included pictures. Does anyone have any idea of the name of the book I'm thinking of.
I remember thinking I wanted to go on a weekend pub crawl starting on Friday at noon and try and visit all of them.

Not sure, but last Xmas someone gave me a large framed picture of all the popular bars in nola(the signs that hang I'm front or the logo). Kind of like a collage of all the places

its a different bar now. it was a block from the boot on the corner on broadway heading to st charles.
the had quarter pitchers on wednesday nights. very relaxed with fake ids and they had a food area that had a guy cooking. spent a lot of time there in high school
