I guess everyone has a different idea of “healthy.” From a nutritional standpoint I’m not sure chicken “salad” is much different than fried chicken. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy both.

I can make a couple meals from a Serop’s 3 side combo. Hard to beat.

Healthy as in low/no carb, high protein, medium fat content. And a low calorie lunch if eaten as a veggie wrap.

Guess a more accurately I should say, "If I want to feel like I'm being healthy..."

I promise you that chicken salad is more like high fat / medium protein. But none of that really matters. I was just pointing out that “healthy” is a relative term. The fried chicken likely had a better protein to fat ratio and still very few carbohydrates.

Edited per your edit: No doubt I would feel better after eating chicken salad on lettuce than some fried chicken. I can’t eat much of anything, much less something heavy, at lunch and not want to call it a day. I don’t know how some people eat a huge meal at lunch and get anything done the rest of the day.

Depends on the mayonnaise used for the salad. If it’s avocado oil or olive oil based, the salad would be much more healthy.

Again, it depends on your macro goals. And if you think grocery stores are using anything other than Cysco vats of plain old mayo, well, they aren’t. I’m not arguing here folks.

Nah, you're right, that's why I corrected to "feel healthy" compared to fried chicken (which also comes with fries/wedges).

Also probably an argument for another board.

Do you know if they’re the same people who owned Nine Dragon Noodle House that was in the Walmart shopping center at Highland/Lee?

think you can still get a specialty calzone or up to 3 toppings. The trick is to get a supreme and substitute the toppings/fillings.

This is how it was. I used to get whatever had the most meat and just subbed things out.

They used to have one called The Sicilian that was my favorite, but neither the regular locations nor the Craft&Crust carry it anymore. I don't know if it even had meat in it, but it had really good vegetables like artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes.

It's kinda funny to think I was all about the calzone deal in college when I don't think I had ever had one before then, and I've certainly never had one since.
