I've always liked SBR, but find that it can be a little thick

i find SBR's already unbearably sweet...i can't image a version where they throw some extra honey in too

I love a sweet and spicy sauce. Hell, I've been known to add honey and spices to the SBR honey Chipotle.

i like spicy but hate a sweet BBQ sauce. i find most off the shelf sauces to be too sweet for my tastes. Stubbs is the exception, which is why it is my go-to if not making my own.

To each his own.

I do enjoy less sweet sauces as well. Sometimes I skip the sauce altogether and go with my dry rub. Depends on the mood.

For some reson, i love a sweet sauce on sausage, but not so much on ribs.

Dreamland...is this mainstream?

If not, then Stubb's.

I always have this at my house. My bro-in-law from Alabama introduced this to me years ago. I make him get me some every time he goes back home.

And to answer your question, I wouldn't consider it mainstream.
