I'll second that one. It was my 1st experience for dining in a "Steakhouse" as a kid for my 12th bday. I asked for and went there for the next few bdays and looked so forward to my bday because of it.
I gotta add Shakey's Pizza, simply because it was to this day the best and coolest Pizza joint ever..............

Bruning's, the food was fantastic but the experience was even better.
Mike's on the Avenue. My favorite business lunch spot in NOLA. (Galatoire's excluded.)
Ruth's Chris on Broad. Enough said.

All great choices. I loved Mike's crawfish spring rolls with the lettuce wrap. I used to work at 650 Poydras, just stroll across Lafayette Square and have a great lunch.

Didn't some innocent party get killed by dealer's looking for the kokopelli's guy? I think the Times-Pic did a story on it or something.

Hummingbird!!!!!!!
I remember going arse a kid. My Dad, a NOLA cop, loved going there. I was too young so I don't remember how the food was but I know the entertainment that place provided every time I went there was the greatest!
