Sorry, reverse that. Slabtown was the one closer to downtown.

Yes. I told you to go to Slabtown. That's their hop laboratory. Both beers on this list originated there. Now you have to come back...

I hear you. Five of the top 20 are from Oregon. They left off some of the best from Block 15, Barley Brown's, Modern Times, Claim 52, Ft George, etc...

Ahead of Treehouse and Trillium.

Yeah. Ok.

Leave it to AbitaFan to disagree with a blind taste test . For something that is purely opinion too. Maybe their taste buds prefer a different taste to yours? But its a blind taste test, how can you argue that its wrong?

I think most would agree that Treehouse and Trillium are better breweries. But in this one blind taste test, with the beers chosen, Parish finished higher.

I'm really happy to see both Triple Crossing and Final Gravity make the top 25. Both are excellent producers of IPA (and beers in general) but are overshadowed by The Veil.

In the past month I have been to probably 7 of the top ten ipa producers in america and I will say that ghost in the machine is just as good if not better than any of them. I am not as big of a ddh bloom fan as others are but it is still as good as any of the other IPA's I have had and if you look at beers like The Alchemist much better. I am done trading parish for other ipas.
so to the fools who are saying that trill and tree house and hell even monkish are on a different level you need to really reevaluate your thoughts.

IPA Breweries I have been to in the past month.
Trillium
Tree House
Hill Farmstead
Monkish (btw want to make their eyes roll ask for your limit of ipa growlers)
Tilted Barn
alchemist
Bissel Bros

In anticipation of the coming DV's from saying this, but I wasn't all that impressed with GITM. It was good, but it didn't really stand out from other NE Style IPA's to me. Probably the only thing it really excelled at was its nose. Great smell.

Full disclosure though is that I'm kind of over the juice craze. I prefer regular, bitter, maltier IPAs. Still an interesting style I'll drink from time to time, but I've had so many over the past year they're all starting to taste the same.

You had me until you got to maltier

I still love the juicy NE IPA's, but I also love a great west coast IPA.

West Coast is def my favorite style, but one with a maltier backbone is good every now and then.

I don’t understand that then, ghost is the most bitter haze bomb in America.

It still has a sweeter finish than I prefer. Not a knock on Ghost as all Juicy IPAs have a sweeter finish. It's definitely one of the best juicy IPAs I've had, I just didn't go ga-ga over it like so many other people. I recently had a bunch of different Treehouse ones and had a similar reaction. I'm just burned out no them and am back to primarily west coast IPAs.

I’ve been over much of the juice haze crazy as well. It’s good, but over saturated. I tend to prefer the good danky styles. However, Ghost is still one of my absolute favorite IPAs/DIPAs. I think it does a fantastic job of balancing lots of juice with lots of dank. It’s not just simply a juice bomb.

Wish this list came out sooner so the trade value on DDH Bloom would've skyrocketed!
