I have some friends coming to town and I want to give them an authentic experience. Where's the best place to get a drive through daiquiri?

Others will chime in on the more authentic drive through daiquiri places, but Bourree has the best tasting daqs. There's no drive through nor are there more than a few choices (maybe 3-5?), so it's not going to fit this request.

Not drive thru. Not allowed in Orleans Parish.

Daiquiris and Creams Bucktown is the answer here.

Original Fat Tuesday's Drive-Thru on Vet's in front of the Wal-Marks in the pink building. After work trips to NOLA we would get a blow-your-face-off 44 oz. Rum Runner for the trip back to BTR.

And yeah... it ain't dere no more.

Don't kill me..But I not sure they have a drive up..

The Daiquiri Bay Cafe (DBC) at Oaklawn and Vets definitely has a drive-up and decent Daiquiris. During the Holidays they have an Eggnog Daiquiri that is real good. They run out of it before the middle of the season.

I hope we are talking about the same place on Lake Ave? I live a few blocks away from there...But tomorrow is $5.00 large daiquiri at the DBC. I might have to get a Margarita.

Yea on lake. If you're facing the building the drive thru was on the right side wall

The new New Orleans Original Daquiris at the foot of Veterans is terrible. DBC and Daquiris and Cream both have good drinks.

In college I had a job with a service company that repaired/replaced/installed frozen beverage and fountain drink machines.

After seeing how difficult they are to really clean, I vowed to never drink from one again if I could help it.

That said, Daiquiri Factory on Barataria in Marrero.

D&C Bucktown for authentic. D&C on Vets if you need a drive thru.
