No doubt. Used to make legendary donuts, but haven't had any in years.

Voodoo Donut of Portland, Oregon.

Just tried these recently. I'm not a big donut guy, but these would be tough to beat. They have some unusual flavors - hard to choose.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Butterkrisp in Covington. The location itself is not aesthetically pleasing I grant you, but what donut shop truly is? When they are hot and fresh they put Krispy Kreme and Mary Lee's to shame IMO. They also do an amazing old fashioned buttermilk glazed that is great as well. Fond memories of chocolate milk and donuts after church on Sundays.

Maple Bacon Donuts from Dyanmo Donuts here in SF. Just the right balance of sweet and savory.

Krispy Kreme right off the belt. Nothing better. Other donuts are just trying to compete.

Nord's Bakery here in Louisville, KY. Heaven is somewhere between the Bacon Maple and the Holland Cream.

There is a Southern Maid in Hammond, too, I think.

Yep, another vote for Southern Maid. Melt in your mouth when hot.

Though I don't go there quite often I have to agree with you. Harlow's has easily the best donuts in Cenla. Out of town nothing can beat Krispy Kreme though. Anytime I go to Gulfport to visit family we come back with two dozen.

Ruddocks is no where near as good as it was before mrs ruddock sold it and didnt sell her recipe.

Sams in walker is by farrrrrr the best in the Baton Rouge metro area. Their plain hot remind me of old ruddocks recipe.

I've had Sam's. Extremely good, even after someone transported them from out there to downtown.

I went here tonight. I think this is the best. If you are in Portland, you gotta go...

Voodoo Donuts. They had a line out the door at 10:30 PM on Sunday night. They gotta be doing something right.
