Going to cook my beef in some hot water tomorrow. What's the best cut for it?

I would do a strip but that's my favorite cut.

Filet, Ribeye or Strip can't go wrong, just make sure it's thick like 1.5 to 2 inches.

Just my opinion.

I usually do filet or strip, just depending on mood.

You can't go wrong, it will handle any of them just fine.

Which ever is your favorite cut, and as long as it’s thick.

Any cut that is whole muscle like a strip or filet.

My favorite steak to SV is Flat Iron. Such a flavorful cut & second most tender steak on the cow.

Place a couple of crushed garlic cloves & a few sprigs of thyme & a knob or two of butter in the bag with the steak.

Strip or Filet for me. I like my ribeye to get crustier and prefer it hard cast iron the entire time or on the grill.
