Where and what are the options? I'd like to get my husband a big pot that has a basket along with a propane burner.
What's the going rates?

Not sure what your budget is but Randy Touppfer in Eunice makes some pretty badass rigs but he can be a little high

I should have mentioned that I'm looking for "value". Lowest price that will get the job done and will have a basket.
I don't know what my budget is because I don't know how much these things cost yet. I plan on looking pretty soon, though.

Well if going for value thats going to rule out SS pots. A good quality 100 qt Aluminum pot will run you about 125-150 dollars.
Bayou Classic and King Kooker will be easist to find.
If he only boils crawfish on this a jet burner will do and run about 25-45 dollars. Bayou classic makes good burners.
ETA:
You could save a good bit of money by getting a 60-80qt pot and he would just have to do more boils.

I just bought a bayou classic double jet burner from livingdirect.com. $65 and free shipping. My dad has one and I love his.

Thanks, I'll be looking for a 60 or 80 qt. pot. What are the key variables/specs/included parts that come into play with burners?

Sam's Club usually has pots around $100 per quart with basket.

I got mine from Sam's, and while it's not quite as heavy as Bayou Classic, it's still a pretty good pot for the price. I'll be dragging mine out this weekend or next to boil a sack.

You'll be safe with a Bayou Classic. It will have what you need.

Will we regret getting something that cheap? Sounds too good to be true!

If all you boil is crawfish not really.
Ideally you would want a heavy gauge of AA or SS. However if you have to save 20-30 dollars its not horrible to have a cheaper pot. If you find one 60-80qt pot and see another next to look at how thin they are. If the one is much heavier and feels thicker and the price difference is within reason to you go with that one.
If you have a high pressure burner that evens out the flame more the pot thickness doesnt matter as much. (of course a jet burner is nice though for boiling crawfish too)

Sam's 80qt $74.88
100 qt- $99.88
I can't find a burner from Sam's online, but I'm pretty sure they have them in stores.
