My takeout go-to is Hot Wok on Vets.

When I lived nearby, loved China Orchid on Carrolton. I was convinced the checkout girl was flirting with me. (CSB)

What happened to the China Doll...In the past, they were always in the conversation.

Used to go there w/my Westwego relatives. We would always joke about the narrow entry, wall hangings, and confined spaces, saying we hoped it never caught on fire, 'cause we'd all be trapped like rats. Since a waitress was murdered right in that same narrow entry by her estranged (husband, boyfriend?), I haven't been back inside the place. Kinda creeps me out to think that indeed someone did get trapped in there with nowhere to run.

I bet the board goes with Chinatown in kennerbrah.

It's my favorite, but to be fair I haven't had Jung's Golden Dragon so I can't really make a valid comparison.

I love the chicken wings at Chinatown

Have to say I live close to Jung's and I think it's fine but not great. There are a few solid choices and you can be a bit more adventurous than some other places. I think Royal China is better.

I was at Hong Kong Market last Saturday and thought about the restaurant next door. The chef apparently is straight from Hong Kong and very talented. I'll have to try it.
