The rest of their food is average; the burger is probably no different.

I am with CarRamrod on Tramonte's, they try to do too much, need to show a little restraint on those burgers. They do all they can to cover up the taste of the actual meat
It's not a traditional burger patty w/ salt and pepper and it isn't for everybody.
I find it a good change of pace. I don't have to have traditional or "natural" every time to classify something as good.
Ground chuck isn't something that should be classified as a "delicate" flavor that needs to be simplistic so the meat shines through every time it's prepared. I enjoy the varieties in cheap cuts. Hamburglar or no hamburglar.

I think Copeland's has a really good burger you never hear about.
Their burger is good, but Copeland's chicken sandwich is the best I've ever had anywhere.

It's an odd thing to order, but I've found in my years on Earth that most Mexican joints make an excellent hamburger. Damn near always a fresh handmade patty. Even the run-of-the-mill small town Tex-Mex places usually put out a quality burger.
never really thought about it but, now that you mention it, the best burger i get around here is from a Mexican joint. the first time i went i asked the girl behind the counter what they were know for, and she said the burger. i almost didn't order it because, why the hell would i go to a mexican place and order a burger? but i ordered it anyway, and it was great [Disclaimer: I don't live in BR, and this story has nothing to do with the best BR burger...

Bonefish as well as Zia's has an amazing one.
When I make a trip to Tony's, I usually make a pass by this little place called 'Dixie Made'. Not the best part of town and I forgot exactly the street it's on (map it). Get the large burger to your liking with fries. Thank me later.

Hah, I wouldn't say it's worth taking that route..

Dixie Made is a fantastic burger. Can't believe I forgot that one.
No frills.... Just a good greasy burger. Add jalapeños

I think this needs to be said about hamburgers.
In my 36 years of existence Ive had a HELLUVA lot more good ones than I ever had bad.
Geeees,,, I mean if you cant cook a good hamburger you have issues, Its not fricking rocket science.
Carry on.

Didn't really have input since I haven't lived in BR in 2 years and if I ate a burger it was from akasha. But I had this last weekend and man was it good. I commented to my gf how much I enjoyed it.

Logan's farm ham place has a good one. Place is on sherwood
Pretty good.
Tramonte's always brings up the same comments, I love their burgers, but I remember someone complaining that it tasted "like a big spicy meatball". Ummm, yes, that's why I like it. If you don't like flavor, just have corn flakes.

I had a great burger at the restaurant in the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza a few months ago. It was a huge angus burger, very crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, served piping out with fresh ingredients for the dressing. I was shocked. Nothing fancy about it. Just a perfectly done generous burger than I keep thinking about.

Agree that Superior makes one of the best burgers in town but it always seems odd to order a burger in a Mexican restaurant.

I really like the rooster at Mike Willie's. The jalapeño sourdough roll makes it. The sunny side up egg doesn't hurt either.

Since no one's mentioned it yet, Kona Grill's Kobe beef burger is amazing.
