When I sleep down there it’s always Ruby Slipper on the way out

Ruby Slipper is the definite go-to. Love all of their locations but Mid-City the best. Great renovation on Broad.

I like a vodka bar. Atchafalaya and Lula have good ones.

Superior actually has a mean weekend brunch that is super cheap and delicious.

Dante's Kitchen. For my money the best brunch in town.
I went a couple months ago and it was utterly disappointing

Do you want high scale or just some eggs benedict?

High end: Commander's
Lower end: Ruby Slipper

Toast is our fav. Everything we’ve had there has been great.

Elizabeth’s and the Country Club, both in the Bywater.

You may not want to take the kids to the latter.

Refuel breakfast burrito with ham and cheese grits.

Cafe Navarre is a semi-hidden gem.

I guess it's just me, but I hate Bloody Mary bars. Just make a good and spicy one, barkeep.

Wayfare and Toast. Criminally underrated, especially Wayfare
