Explain turkey cheese, lived in La all my life and never heard that term but it sounds like something I would eat.

original rays boudin on hwy 182 opelousas. ate a pound ysterday. by far the best and it isnt even close.

I ate at best stop not long ago. decent boudin, but not all that. definitely overrated.

I agree 100%. I purchased 10 or so of the "best" boudins in Acadiana and did a blind taste test. Mowata Store was #1, followed by Poche's. It's funny how your preference changes when you don't know which is which.

Did you have the smoked boudin or the regular? Market Basket's smoked is excellent; spicier than most.

After being used to smoked boudin, I don't even want to eat regular boudin anymore.
