I salute everyone here who said Dreamland sucks.
I wouldn't feed them to my dog.
Grossly overrated

I can honestly say that I've had better ribs at Ruby Tuesday's.
The fact that you not only ordered, but paid for, ribs at Ruby Tuesday's disqualifies your opinion.

Ribs - Dreamland Tuscaloosa, AL
My Gump relatives took me to Archibalds last time in T-Town and it may be the best BBQ I've ever had

Corkys and TJ ribs are probably the best ribs I have eaten in a restaurant. I haven't been to many memorable places though. I heard County Line was supposed to be great in Corpus but it didn't impress me.
FTR best BBQ I ever get is at home or BBQ'ing with friends.

And I ate there when 'Big Daddy' Bishop was still alive.
My dad went in the 80's right after they had been audited. The IRS made them put in a brand new cash register. My dad walks up to pay. Bishop says "lets see, yall had about 8 slabs of ribs, half a case of Heineken, lets call it 100 bucks." My dad gave him the cash, Bishop walk by the register, and puts the money right in an old cigar box.

Best BBQ Sauce: Slayden's Barbeque, Bastrop, LA
It's good bbq sauce. Not sure if it's the best in the land, but it is damn good. And thank God it's good, because it transforms their otherwise crappy meat selection into something edible. This is coming from a feller who eats there on average of 1.3 times a week.
I agree that Dreamland blows.
Central BBQ is Memphis is probably the best I've had. But Danken Trail in Monroe easily meets my needs for good bbq.

Big Daddy didn't serve sides. Ribs and white bread only. So try again.
The overrated fatty marbled ribs were still while he was alive near the end..the crappy beans, tater salad, and milky slaw, came later after his passing..blame his relatives.

Saltlick BBq in Driftwood, TX or Round Rock, TX
Corkys in Memphis- dry ribs and onion loaf
State line, El Paso- get the all you can eat. Beef ribs/brisket
My one stop at Dreamland in T-town was a disappointment.

Look, Crimson--we all know that Dreamland is a landmark and respect that.
But the food is terrible. Nothing personal.

went to Central BBQ (here in Memphis) a couple nights ago and, jesus christ, the ribs were outstanding
I've always waffled back and forth between Central BBq and the BBQ Shop as to which one was the best in Memphis. right now, Central is my favorite.

My favorite as well.
Moonlite BBQ in Owensboro, KY has the best mutton.
Jacks BBQ in Nashville has the best chess pie and pulled pork (Trinity Rd location).
Sticky Fingers and Sugars in Chattanooga is real good.
And a true BBQ joint has to have fried pickles!
Saws BBQ in Bham is damn good.
