Cattleack obviously not open on Sundays.

I know about Pecan Lodge.

Any others I should try that would be open on a Sunday?

Hutchins BBQ in McKinney and Frisco, TX.

Open Sunday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

I've only been to the McKinney location and am wishing I could go back soon. They serve up great BBQ.

In my experience if it's open on Sunday, then it's not gonna be good BBQ.

Wed-Sat.

Lockhart Smokehouse

Meat U Anywhere (grapevine or trophy club, hidden gem)

Hard Eight or Ten 50 are good fallbacks

Went here twice in the last week after two bad experiences previously. Holy frick it was good. This time i went during busier hours. Sides were great, beef ribs and brisket were outstanding, and the pork ribs with their st louis style sauce was like crack.

Damn. I'll get that next trip. Thought about it last two times but wanted to try everything the other stuff. Those beans were great too. Glad to see it was just random bad experiences first two times. They're only like 2 minutes from my house.

Off the Bone BBQ. It's near the hood, but they run a tight ship. Prices were great, we got a 3 meat plate with Ribs, Brisket, Chicken and 2 sides (chili mac n cheese and coleslaw with bacon and cheese) and a roll all for $17

I think Clark's Outpost BBQ in Tioga, Tx has reopened. My motorcycle club used to ride up there on Sundays for their excellent BBQ.

I can vouch for Hutchins. If they're open on the Lord's Day, then there's at least one good answer.

These are all good options. I would give Ten 50 a look. Its easy to get to right off HWY 75 and its tremendous.

Ended up trying Meat U Anywhere. I would probably put the brisket up against any I've ever had. It was really damn good!

It's solid Q. Same for Lockhart Smokehouse. Some of the best smoked bird I have ever eaten.

I've had mixed results with Lockhart. Went the other day and brisket wasn't very good. Last time I went it was A+.

I also made the mistake of ordering their baked beans, which tasted like a canned product some cheap Mexican restaurant would use. Their pork ribs were good, though.
