I know I've seen this covered on this board before, but couldn't find anything on a search.

What you got?

thanks, friends.

its well worth it

2nd Kilgore exit is the one we always hit, though I have not been there in a few years.

Jim's in Waskom. Right across the line in TX. It's next to the Dairy Queen.

Stanley's in Tyler is solid. Haven't tried the other ones mentioned.

Don't do this unless you want subpar, reheated meat.

Bobacious BBQ on Mobberly in Longview is the original and the best. This is per my brother who cooks meats for a living out there. Apparently the others are franchised and only loosely related to the original. Basically no quality control and shitty.

Most of the Bodacious I've been to are solid.

Pittsburg Texas is famous for their hot links, and worth trying, but a fair drive north of 20.

ETA.. don't read the ingredients for the hot links.

Agreed, kinda off the main trail (i20) a few minutes, but worth it.
