If we are talking a "bar" in a more traditional sense, then Erin Rose would fit the bill.

No one mentioning Mimi's in the Marigny?

If we're getting out of "NOLA", how about The Harbor?

Blue Oak inside Grits is great. I would get the rooster wings with shaved garlic. We crushed 60 in there last weekend.

Yeah, I think we are. There might be 5 "harbors" in the NOLA area..

17th Street in Metry...right behind Wendy's

We were. Never been there but have been to the place across the street. Name slips my mind. Do they have a Golden Tee machine there ?

Can't remember. In that pic, the first floor of the portion on the right is the restaurant and kitchen. the whole brick portion on the left is the bar.

There is a few of these dives in the area...Caddyshack, Bottom Linem etc.

All have solid burgers and a bunch of goof frozen food that tastes yummy when dipped in some white sauce (ranch, blue cheese...take your pick)

Ya, I'm in there enough that I know them. Always try to make contact before I go over there and make sure they are serving food. Kitchen isn't always open.
