Not sure about a sale, but Costco always has plenty to choose from.

You just missed a 18/lb prime sale at rouses. Ended on the 10th. Idk about any other sales as of now.

Download the Flipp app and add your stores to see their weekly sales flyers in one easy spot. Rouses next one should drop on the 18th. Not telling what it will be but it’s easy to see in that app.

It’s not a tenderloin but rouses now has prime short loins for 11.88/lb. They will cut it up for you or they will have some cut already if you don’t need that much. Super one showing prime for 8.97/lb limit 2 packs so idk what that looks like.

I have bought 2 of the short loins the last 2 times they have been on sale. Got them cut 1.5”. About half is porterhouse and other half is T-bone. Great steaks being tender and full of flavor. Buy with confidence.

I grabbed one. It’s from Brazil so not sure if it’s actually gonna be decent quality or not.

Rouses strip loin? How do you know it’s from Brazil? The ones I got had usda prime on the cryovac plastic. It’s also listed as usda prime so it shouldn’t be imported.

No the ones from lyons mart. The ones from rouses were clearly prime.

I got 6 nice size filets, 6 medallions, and maybe a 1lb of scraps for a cheesesteak off of a 5lb tenderloin.

I’ll post a pic of the filet in a sec

I threw one of the bigger medallions on the grill and it was decent for the price. Lacks the flavor of the prime I got from rouses. It was tender though. I think the next time I cook one I’ll let them sit out with some salt on them for a couple of hours.

Definitely worth the price I would say. Prob 10-12 meals for $70.

Back to the message. I got one from lyons.after cleaning it up I got 9 steaks and some medallions for about 70 bucks. As tender as any prime I’ve had. After a dense flavor I’m not sure but after a 2 finger and 2 tall boys everything tastes good. Thanks for the rec
