Thanks for posting, good read. We moved here in 1987 from NO area, fried seafood and steaks ruled the city. I love the international spread available today. We still have some gaps, but they are closing up.

I remember coming to LSU and getting on the OT lounge circa 2004-2005 and asking about good mexican food..... I was told to go to El Rio Grande..... the salsa was freakin Pace Picante sauce. I knew i wasnt in New York City anymore.
