I didn’t know they made seasonings / rubs
I’ve heard good things about the food, may need to take a ride & try it

They have the best tender moist brisket around here but terrible bbqsauce.

Hannah Q is pretty good too, but Baton Rouge’s BBQ scene is an absolute joke. Sadly, Ascension Parish is even worse.

It's not like they have much competition.

we went once a couple years ago... Honestly the only thing that stands out in my mind was the smoked turkey breast. Other than that, i dont remember being super blown away by it.

As far as BBQ places in Baton Rouge? No there's not really anything special.

moist brisket is great. Loaded potato casserole is straight up slammin! Portions are pretty large, really never had anything bad there

I only ate it a few times years ago when they had the location off Gardere. I guess they turned it around because the food from there was trash and it ended up closing

Not the same owner or product.

F&D Board guy Opie has opened a new BBQ joint in DS near Big Mike's, Smokin Aces and it is very good.

Couyon's is def one of the best in the BR area.

Ate at Couyon's about 6 months ago. I thought it was fairly decent. I had brisket and ribs and a side or two. I remember the brisket being decent but nothing that would bring me back. The spare ribs were better but only when you added sauce. Haven't been back since. Not because I disliked it, because I didn't. But if I can do better in my backyard....
