@ overpass and a loud mouth drunk fatty that comes in reserving seats, and moving drinks from customers that were sitting down. Dismissing them as they grabbed their drink, dancing to “rebel with a kickstand”. Friends with bartender is why this “person” gets away with it.

Anyways places like this could be great if the clientele didn’t suck.

What place do you think is filed with too many douches over 25?

Sounds like a regular came in there and ruined your one night a year out.

I lived behind the Overpass and find that surprising. Place always seems well ran to me.

I can only hope you're one of the ones who turns to dust when Thanos snaps his fingers.

Definitely a regular, but not my one night out. I bartended for years, so I was quietly enjoying a beer & a loud person who-actively tried to move another guest (not me) out of the way then shooed him with “okay bye now” despite the fact he had been sitting there with a full drink.

I found the whole thing to be obnoxious. She was obviously drunk and got away with poor behavior because she knows the bartender.

Yes, water is wet.

Just a thought exercise for those around BR and really an informal survey so I know where to avoid.

College bars are one thing, this type of crap has become more and more acceptable.

I left before the joining party members asked me to move down.

A general observation about how people behave when out.

Oh the horror. You are probably one of those people that sits with an empty chair between you and your friend in a full bar and then makes faces when people ask you for the empty seat. Worse yet, you probably leave your purse in the seat next to you.

Overpass gets way too loud when packed with loud arse drunks.

I've been there early several times and enjoyed the food and drinks. I went one Saturday night around 8 and noticed that when they are slammed the quality of the food goes way down and the noise level are so loud it's unbearable.

The chicken skins are the tits, though!

That place hasn’t been a bar since Zee Zees closed.

No, but funny you mention purses, besides the one falling out of your mouth, the offensive party was throwing purses down to claim seats for her friends who had yet to arrive-including where a different customer was sitting, while he had gotten up to go to the bathroom/walk his friend out/smoke. again she shooed him away. He was more than polite about it, but you can’t reason with stupid drunk bitches, as most can see.

So the very behavior you are speaking up about is what this person did.

I don’t know about all that, but I ate dinner there last night and these two guys and a girl told the door girl who asked for their ID “Oh, no we are good”

She’s like ummm no you’re not?

yeah it’s not a bad place, but clientele can be a good reason for me not to go somewhere.

There’s an obvious bias coming from someone who used to deal with the public.

That type of crowd can be insufferable.

For the most part, I enjoy both the concept and staff of OM.

I love the place and don't ever have an issue, but I'm never there as late as you mentioned. The people I saw were just your stereotypical dudebros (dudebaws? tucked in haberdashery collared LSU shirts with dark jeans and and brown belts) + their women that are rude and tip poorly, but sadly that isn't regulated to Merchant

I don't know if these people were necessarily 25+ though. Hard to tell age.

I’ll give you the haberdashery shirt but jeans and brown belts are pretty standard. lol

Fair enough

The people being rude could be stereotyped a mile away, TBH. After all, stereotypes exist for a reason.
