Wife and I will be down there for anniversary. I'm hoping the hysteria will keep the restaurant lines short and the bar areas clear so that I don't have to wait for anything.

I think it will be fairly busy. We will be going out since all our kid activities got canceled.

A bunch of people are doing a huge pub crawl uptown since their Irish Channel thing got cancelled

I think that drinking establishments could see an uptick as well. If people in N.O. are bored with nothing to do they usually hit up their preferred bar.

I think it’ll be normal.

Was walking my dog down Freret yesterday around 6:45 and every bar/restaurant had a decent crowd.

The Quarter was pretty busy last night. Not packed but there were a few thousand people out and about.

This will probably the last normal weekend here for the next few weeks. A bunch of places are going to be shutting down

Drove by a couple of casinos this afternoon. Did not seem to be much activity compared to a typical Friday.

I'm predicting it's going to be balls to the walls everywhere you go.

Walked through the Quarter again tonite. Plenty people out and about. We're going out tomorrow and Sunday to patronize the bars and restaurants.

Yesterday evening my local bar was slammed. They had their usual Friday crawfish boil and people were in a good mood.
The bartender has a young kid and I know she is worried about schools being closed so I made sure to tip her extra as did the regular sitting next to me.

I’m sure this same scene is happening all over at the local bars in Nola.
The large restaurants that rely on tourist and business travelers are going to be hurt badly though.
