Atlanta or Surrounding Area....Lunch Spot?

Where to grab lunch?
We are planning to do the Coca-Cola tour then head north to our cabin....but while in ATL we were going to grab lunch after the tour. Is there any spot that would be great to hit up for a family of 5? Looking for something unique that would be fun... will be making our way north so if there's something north of the city as well we'll look into it...
TIA!

Not a clue about Atlanta…. However, Fox Bros BBQ is pretty damn good. At least it was the last time I went.

Not sure how old his family of five are but, the Vortex has an age restriction...

Both locations of The Vortex (Midtown and Little 5 Points) are bars designed for adults. Therefore, we restrict access to patrons 21-and-over at all times. This means you cannot bring your children, toddlers or infants with you until after they turn twenty-one, even if they are already drinking all your booze at home. This includes patio areas as well. The whole joint. All day. Every day. No kids. No exceptions. Really.

Check out Woodstock and Canton.
And there is a cool little place in Ball Ground called the Burger Bus.

Thx for the recs…
I started following a few places on Instagram to get ideas etc… always looking for a nice unique spot instead of bringing the kids to McDonald’s or something.

There is a local chain called Taqueria Tsunami that is very good.
There is one at the outlet mall in Woodstock. Exit 9 on I-575.
I know that outlet mall and chain don’t sound appealing but it is really quite good.
The southwest avocado egg rolls are fantastic.

We’re heading to Carrollton for the weekend. Not sure there’s anything to do on the east side.

It’s very popular with younger folks. Can be crowded on the weekends. Parking can be harder on weekends too.
But it is a cool area.

PCM is cool. It's not that easy to get in and out of with a family, but if you're up for it it's cool to see.
People mentioned Fox Bros - there is a big new Fox Brothers in the development called The Works on the Westside. It's a good space and right next to a Scofflaw Brewing if you want to grab a beer. Reasonably convenient to 75 too. Das BBQ is not far from there either if you want to try something a little less known to outsiders. The most popular taco place in Atlanta - Taqueria Del Sol, is not far either.

Varsity is unique but the dogs are awful. Skip it. I would try some of the spots on Howell Mill. Just north of Coca Cola. Flip Burger, The Optimist or Miller Union.

Ended up at Fox Bros… def gave me Blue Oak vibes. Was a solid choice no doubt…
Hit afternoon work traffic getting out of ATL… but wasn’t too bad.
Have the other spots saved for our way back if we pass back thru
Thx!
