That's good. I'd like to have both of them stick around...but maybe in different threads.

Chitown - your Id says you are a one drink distance from Wrigley.
Have you ever been to Reza on the corner of Clark and West Berwin? Maybe a mile or two north of Wrigley Field.
One of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have ever enjoyed. If you go, take cash or a check, They don't do credit cards. Kabobs, Dill Rice, Feta salad - Lamb Shank, Heaven. There are several in Chicago, but the Clark Street place is the best.
One block south and across the street from Reza (probably on Foster at Clark) there is a Middle East Bakery and Grocery. Beside it there is a Pita store, that cooks them fresh. Amazing to watch the guy throw uncooked Pita breads against the blazing hot ceramic walls of the gas fired oven and then pull them off a moment later - fully cooked, hot and ready to eat.
Good food there (Reza and the grocery) and the pita oven is amazing to watch.

It’s obnoxious at this point. Bunch of nobodies trying to troll someone that’s actually done something noteworthy in his life

Man. Gotta tell ya... there are a metric ton of folks reading this thread that really appreciate your insight and tips. Everyone has faults - not a soul in this thread, nor anyone reading, can claim not having such.
A lot of folks just like causing trouble, stirring pots and lighting fuses. Ignore them. I know it’s difficult, but ignore them.
Some folks can laugh at the jabs, insults and barbs thrown at them .... while laughing at themselves and their own shortcomings - Most can’t. It doesn’t make a person good/bad/indifferent, it makes us who we are.
I feel confident I speak for the majority when I say - ignore the chaos if you need to... but hang around. Maybe not starting a “fire away” thread, lol.... but hang around. I, we, could learn from you - and that’s valued around here these days. The board is quite a bit different than it was 8-10 years ago when a lot of us primarily used it for personal culinary benefit and not simply entertainment.

I think you guys are wrong, Rob likes the chaos. I think it gets highly amused by it.

Means a lot ... let's start a food thread and I'll try to ignore the hateful hurtful comment made by a few. Fat shaming is uncool and sometimes people are injured and cant exercise as much... But I go on. I just wanna talk some smoke its been too long I miss it truly

I never said I was gods gift to shite. WTF is wrong with you people. I got some national not only local press and started a BBQ movement in NOLA and I get hate and BS thrown at me.
Right, because you have never done anything wrong. You think people hate you because of your “success”.

I started this thread to shout out to some supportive fans and share some bbq knowledge with them. But just like always on this forum a-holes take over and just spread hate.
Just like everything you do it probably starts with good intentions but your toxic douche personality poisons it like a turd in the punch bowl.
Maybe one day you will learn, but I doubt it.
FYI we have posters like MeridianDog who are beloved around here. All he does is post recipes and advice. Except he does it in a genuine, friendly way and seems like a great guy I would like to have a beer with.

Didn’t you used to do pop ups long ago? Did you make any money at all doing these or was it just to get your name out there for bigger things to come? I’ve thought about doing the pop up thing, but don’t know if there is an end game for me. Thanks.

There was a day it killed some time for me but I like living a chill nonconfrontational life. I just would like to have an adult convo on a subject I know a lil about truth be told

I love Tigerdroppings. Chef Rob has gone from being a villain to a hero. Happy endings are great.

"chef" Rob should start one of his look-at-me threads on the OT. See how that goes.
One can only dream.
And to the recipe rats slobbing his knob.....pathetic. Come up with your own methods rather than jacking someone else's shite.
