Has anyone tried it? Didn’t know this place opened recently. Every time I drove by for almost a year, I would see the “open soon” banner. It’s on the corner Sherwood and Florida. I believe it used to be a gym.
I looked up Yelp to check it out(I was craving for some hot pot). The inside was surprising decent looking. One would not expect it based on the outside appearance. Read up on the menu and not your typical Chinese restaurant offering Kung pao chicken, general tso, or egg drop soup. The menu is a small version of those big city Chinese restaurants where the menu is a small book. Btw, menu is in English, Vietnamese, and maybe mandarin. A couple of items mistranslated but no big deal.
It read the review and it said that hot pot will be available next month. In addition, they will also offer dim sum which is a bonus because the one on delcourt closed earlier this year. Will definitely check it out then.

I haven't been, but I've seen your eating and I trust anything you back. So if you go, please report back to us here.
The menu looks pretty legit. I don't know if I could do the plate of duck tongues ( ), but I love anything braised or soupy with fish, which I see they have a lot of.

Fried duck tongues are delicious. But I tend to eat a little on the wilder side than you do.
Will keep an eye open for someone posting a review from here, sounds really interesting

Go inside the market behind the restaurant and check out the live seafood. If you like live eels, there's a bucket of them on the ground there.

I've been in that store and seen said bucket on the floor.. I don't know what I expected to see when I peeked into a bucket on the floor, but that wasn't it.

I pass by this place a good bit and always wonder if/when it's open.
I'm curious to try it as well.

My wife text me about this place the other day. We're definitely keeping our eyes on it and will probably be going to try it out soon. I have high hopes.

It would help if you let us know what city you’re referring to.

It’s located on the famous Florida blvd and Sherwood intersection in New York City.

Bumping the shite out of this because I just stumbled onto this place and saw they just started serving dim sum. Anyone have any experiences to share from the last few months?

Has become my every Thursday lunch meal. Basil beef and sub rice with fried rice.

Well in 5 months I’ve gone so much that the entire waitstaff knows me
No regrets. Food is awesome.

What are your go-to dishes? I went once, and thought it was solid, but nothing really blew me away. Favorite was probably the beef chow fun.

I had their dim sum a few days ago. I had a thread about it.

I wish they were doing dim sum for dinner, but I’ll find a way to make it there for lunch sometime soon.
