What are best breweries/taprooms to visit in Asheville? We’ve got our dinner restaurants pretty well lined out, but I need recs on beer.

Burial and wicked weed. If you don’t mind driving 15 minutes Zebulon is great too imo. They do have very limited hours though iirc.

My favorite was One World Brewing, but I'm a hop head and so are they.

The sierra nevada brewery is pretty impressive. I think it is a few minutes outside Asheville. Funkatorium was really cool too if you enjoy sours.

Sierra Nevada and New Belgium are beautiful and I recommend them just for the fact that they're gorgeous and fun.

Burial is a must-go for the beers.

We started out at Sierra Nevada and worked our way back in to the city.New Belgium, then across the river was Wedge Brewery. After that we headed into the heart of the city and did Wicked Weed and others. A great couple days. FYI, we cancelled our dinner reservations after the full day of breweries and ordered pizza in our hotel room.

Wicked Weed and Green Man's new brewery are both pretty cool. Sierra Nevada is a bit of a drive, but well worth it. Restaurant with it was good as well.

I also recommend going to the Thirsty Monk. I love that bar. Basement is a Belgian beer bar, main floor has a little of everything, then upstairs is one of the best cocktail bars i've been to. Bartenders were phenomenal and made some killer drinks.

One World is cool—it’s underneath farm burger. Cool atmosphere. We caught a great bluegrass band there.

As mentioned burial, wicked weed (and funkatorium), bhrarmari are all great. They’re all so close just grab a beer or 2 at all of them and bounce to the next.

There’s a sake place called Ben’s tune up that’s good to change it up

ETA: I did not care for wedge. Their ipa is more of an English style. Agree that thirsty monk is good

Thanks for all the recs. We did wicked weed for lunch yesterday, Bhramari for dinner last night. Biltmore during the day today. Stumbled across White Labs in the way back tonight.
Have had so much good beer in the last 24 hrs. Highlights were freak of nature dipa at wicked weed, The good fight ddh sour at Bhramari, and barley wine at white labs.
we also canceled dinner reservations the last 2 nights b/c the food at the brew-pubs has been phenomenal.

Burial and Funkatorium this afternoon. Beer at both were fantastic, but I would give nod to burial overall.
Atmosphere at burial was far and away better.
Highlights today were burial Mutilation ddh dipa, burial breakfast skillet stout, and WW French toast stout.
