Was this Saturday afternoon?

Yea. I was there from about 230-4 and he was there before and after I was there. Looked like they were having a good time.
And he looked familiar but I don't think I knew him

The crab gratin looks delicious. What's the pink in it? Tomatoes?

I had fried oysters Friday night, but your pics have me craving them again.

Middle aged?

Probably Uncle O-Brah. He was up there for several hours on Saturday.

Nah. I'm hitting the ones Upt. I'm starting to celebrate my birthday this weekend too. It falls during Lent this year so I have to make these weekends count.

Might be that the alcohol consumption threw your palate off just a bit.

Was this the dish?

Try them at Casamento's

My last experience at Casamento's resulted in my parents getting sick from the raw oysters. They were pretty much deathly ill for about a week. I had the fried oysters and was ok.

After three, I was feeling pretty good. I ran into some star from Fraggle Rock.

Okay, I had to Google Fraggle Rock. afterwards, I couldn't stop laughing. I don't know if you have to have that great of a buzz to confuse her with one of the FR characters.

I think I read that Mike the shucker (originally from Uglesich's) is no longer there. Could have been a long time ago that he left for all I know, not that this makes much difference in the grit. All I know if that the fried oysters there are perfect every single time I eat them. So crispy crunchy on the outside and delicious on the inside.

they probably buy them pre-shucked. B/c whoever cleans their raw oysters sucks.

Could you rename your thread to "Arseinclarse's Fatty Rewind"? I've only been to like two of these places.
