I'd like to try one of the Meat Church products to smoke a couple Boston Butts this weekend. I'm new to their products and am unsure of which would be best. Any rec's?

I use the honey hog for pork. Holy gospel for beef and the holy voodoo on Chicken and anything else.

Some meat church products are now being stocked at academy. I know I picked up some holy voodoo not long ago.

I ordered a 3pk of the bulk bags in the below flavors. All great on pork!

I use the Honey Hog. It doesn't stand out from other rubs to me.

Would recommend checking into some of the rubs from Kosmo’s Q. I like the ones I have used. Don’t remember the names of them right off the top of my head.

I have not, but have thought about trying some out as well. If I went with the Honey Hog I'd do the Hot version. If you try them out, let us know how you like them.

Holy Gospel is great on pork butt. Coat the meat with steens syrup and then put the rub on. Awesome.

I dig the Gospel and Honey Hog but I wouldn't say either of them is miles ahead of most other rubs. MC's best products are their seasoned salt, herb/garlic beef rub, and lemon pepper seasoning and all are criminally underrepresented. Their "Deez Nuts" pecan rub is one of the most confusing products I've ever used - it's not good and it's not bad....it's just....but it does give great color.
