Well I'm sold. Count me in as your first $10,000 investor.

I've worked in a couple of breweries (I currently work in one) and I will tell you first-hand that it's a lot of moving parts. Craft beer is a competitive industry so the beer actually needs to be good. It's important to have multiple partners/owners/founders who excel in different things or it's hard to be successful. You need someone well-versed in brewing. You need a money guy. You need an Operations guy or at least someone who has service industy experience. The place I work right now was started by a couple of brilliant dudes from MIT who were either going to start a tech company or open a brewery...they decided that a brewery sounded like more fun
There's a major learning curve involved in opening any bar, and it's hard to succeed if you have no knowledge of how the business works. Trial by fire is definitely a thing, but it's good to avoid it if you can.

Just let him do his thing, bring all the board and card games you have, maybe some Cornhole boards, and get a square card reader and you're golden.

Good luck with all the red tape and hoops they’ll make you jump through, especially if you’re in Louisiana.

It's all the rage now, just like bbq restaurants. People are taking their backyard hobbies and trying to make it their income source. Good luck, but it is far from easy. What would give you the edge over other offerings on the shelf and area competitors?

Dammit! That was literally my one day off this week! But I'll be there every night through Saturday if you want to try again. First round on me!
Edit: I will not be there on Thursday. I'll be working an event in Dewey Square.

How dare you take a day off the one random day my wife and I decide to stop by.
May not make it in this week but will definitely be back soon and will try to give you the heads up this time.
There were a lot of new ones on tap that I hadn't had before. That Double Hop Hop is good stuff.

Double Hop Hop is so good! That's my go-to drink now when I'm working.
It was the Hermitage for a week or two but that shite is potent
I usually work 2 Sundays a month, you just picked the wrong one!

Stop. Stop. You already had me sold from your first post. You didn't even mention that you already had the hard part figured out.
So how big a production are we talking here? Because I say we go big or go home.

You can purchase brewing equipment with the smallest capacity (1 barrel, which is 31 gallons of beer, equal to 320 12-ounce beers) for $100,000 or less if you buy it used, or pay up to $1 million or more for a brand-new, 30-barrel system (equal to 9,600 12-ounce beers)

Turning point here in DFW started this way. But they make great beer and started selling kegs into bars and bought a building and bigger scale equipment when they made enough money.
