There is no way I can express to you how much of mistake that would be.

Do not go. Overrated and awful. Frankly I don’t know how they’re still open.

haven't been in years, but not worth the trip. Very overrated.

Great place if you want a variety of New Orleans food in a buffet style. I would not say it’s as bad as posted. However, you do need to realize it’s mass produced and it does give you a variety of things all at once where normally you would not get in one sitting. Go try it.

Having a lot of options done poorly does not equate to a good meal.

Many overrated places posted on here. CO2S not that bad. Worth going to enjoy and spend a day. Where else is one going to go to get a smorgasbord of New Orleans food at one sitting. OP will enjoy it plus the atmosphere beats most breakfast brunch places. Lot of people rated it really high just go look it up.

It's expensive for what it is. I seem to remember the wife and I spending like $85 on breakfast. It was pretty good but not worth that much money. Although not near the FQ, I love Surrey's on Magazine

It’s perfect on a day like today
courtyard outside is beautiful and the food is certainly edible

If you want a courtyard I would counter that with Cafe Amelie

Give up man. It’s below average at best.

An unfathomably shitty tourist trap. Of all the places to go for brunch in Nola it would be extremely low.

The furniture, decor, and people with positive reviews are all stuck in the 90s. It looks like an outdated Disney version of New Orleans with food not nearly worth the price.
There are better options including Brennans and Palace Cafe jazz brunches. Even Ruby Slipper will give a better meal, but the atmosphere will be less.

I must agree with many of the previous comments. The COTS is a wonderful place to visit - as a tourist - and has some historical charm; however, it is wildly overpriced for the quality, which has been lacking for many, many years. If the weather is nice, enjoy conversation on the patio with a cocktail. As for food, there are much better choices within walking distance. Beware: many appetizers and main dishes are pre-cooked and frozen, then microwaved. Sad, but true.
