I very rarely eat fried foods and was reminded yesterday as to why...had some onion rings with my son as an app then had some fried catfish after the parades yesterday in NO. When I got home my stomach was a wreck.

I enjoy them in moderation. If I overdo it, though, I feel like shite.

I am fine with fried food. But smoked meat has been giving me trouble.

I mostly stay away from fried foods, but there is no way a person could resist some Mason's Grill onion rings.
Also, a freshly fried McDonalds filet-o-fish can be magical.

the only thing that really destroys my stomach is milk stouts and abita amber on draft

Beechwood is the only thing that doesn't agree with me. I can eat just about anything else in massive amounts.

YES. I feel your pain. I ran in the Lafayette parade Saturday night, which meant lots of fried chicken, etc. I am paying for it today. I can handle a little bit of friend food, but not an overload like Saturday.

i fried some catfish last night. I only ate about 4-5 oz. If I eat more than that my stomach will be a wreck.

Inability to tolerate fried foods is (often) a gallbladder issue. Bile produced by the gallbladder emulsifies the fats w/the other components in your food & allows it to "move along" and be digested.

Moving along is not the issue with me, It moves along a little too fast

No. Never.
The only thing I have a problem eating is vegetables. Because they're gross.

That is because of your gallbladder. Ask me how I know. Or rather yet, don't ask me how I know unless you want to hear my stories about near instantaneous explosive diarrhea caused by fried food. I had to cut back a bunch due to gallbladder issues.

"Salad? That's what my food eats."

I had my gallbladder removed.
