tastes great with sliced sandwich bread. But, if you try to make a PB&J with French bread, it’s just weird?

TBH it's a little weird you decided to explore this combo.

I won’t eat it if I have to open a new jar that’s been in the pantry

Same with ketchup & mayo, has to be cold

That’s where I keep it. Has to be white bread too, wheat doesn’t work well. I also mix the peanut butter and jelly in a bowl before I spread it on the bread and put the milk in a freezer for a little while before or a frozen mug.

It only really works on sliced bread, but a PB&J sandwich and a glass of milk is good shite.

When you mix them up...put it in the fridge, then spoon it on...

And then if you make a slightly sweet brown bread...like a pumpernickel(trivia time:the name means Devil’s Fart)

Bread Slightly toasted and buttered and the pb&j cold...

That’s a gourmet sandwich

Judging by all the replies, there’s some weird motherfrickers on this board. It’s peanut butter and jelly. All these “rules” are just dumb.

Crunchy peanut butter is just half done peanut butter. It would be like getting milk with chunks of cheese in it.

Actually, you can take the day old French bread, make pain perdu (don’t bother with the powdered sugar) then use that to make your PB&j and that’s legit

ETA: damn some of y’all are really hating on my PB&J game.

My only rule is the bread has to be fresh. I’ll put a piece of iceberg lettuce on them once in awhile.

And I can only have them with ice cold milk.

Especially when it's good honey that 'crisps' the bread without any heating element.
