Try this on a salad with some roasted pecans, romaine, croutons and orange wedges.

Alton Brown lost a ton of weight eating a lot of sardine/avocado on toast. I tried it and found it okay, but I could not see eating it almost daily as he claimed in one interview.
Here his version. LINK
And a version that Serious Eats put together. LINK
I prefer to just eat them straight, with crackers and maybe hot sauce.
I stayed with a family in England, and the guy went to a fish market and bought fairly good size smoked kippers. Heated them up in the oven for breakfast. He said he loved them, but his wife hated that they smell up the house, so he used me being there as an excuse. They were pretty good. Now I eat the King Edward canned ones fairly often.

I love the Bumble Bee sardines. My grocer stopped carrying them for some reason. Guess I was the only one buying them? They also have a canned mackerel product which I love. I can't find that any more either......
