Anyone been to Adolpho Garcia's new spot on Freret in NOLA yet? Dolfy's.

I have always enjoyed Adolpho's so I suspect this will be good too.

Thoughts? Experiences?

This is Adolpho's son and his wife. From what I've seen it looks pretty good.

First review I heard was fine enough but a let down from the hype

I’m curious to see more opinions

Went last week. Food was excellent but kind of pricey. Had the octopus appetizer which was kind of small portions but tasty.

Had the 14 day dry aged tuna steak for entree, which was fantastic. Perfectly cooked. Wife had the chicken entree which she loved. Wife also loved the cocktails she got (no pics and no idea what it was).

It’s a terrible name, but I’m looking forward to trying.

Appreciate the review.

I'm going on Friday. Will report back.

So made it to Dolfy's on Friday:

GF and I got the following:

Wood fired piquillo peppers
Shrimp al ajillo
hamachi crudo
iberico
dry aged tuna

Everything was delicious and service was excellent. Serving portions are a tad on the small side, especially on the Pintxos and Apps. Price is high in my opinion. If you don't mind the pricing, It's worthy of a visit.

My cocktail was good too. I didn't try GF's cocktail.
