Saw him twice on a commercial for "Lifestyle Appliances", whatever that is.

I guess this starts the decline of his reputation.

I wish he’d do a fried chicken video.

He posts a lot on Facebook. He's at Disney right now with his wife and children.

I saw the commercial on his FB page. He says it's a family owned company. Address is Clearview Parkway. Didn't see anything wrong with it. Why shouldn't he capitalize on his new found fame?

If someone said, they’d give you money to talk to a camera…you would say no?

No, depending on the product, I guess. It's just that a decline is usually the result if the endorsements take over the celebrity's time and ego.

I respect you more than just about anyone on this board but this post sounds like the losers that say a band “sold out” when they gain commercial appeal.

You know, I had a friend in college that wouldn't listen to Frampton because he "sold out". I happened to love the sold out Frampton, so I get what your saying. I'm not faulting the guy - his videos are very watchable and his recipes are damned good. He's got the personality to do it.

My comment was more of a heads up to everybody to see what happens. Kind of watching a social experiment. I pulling for CN. I hope he does better than others that got consumed by the commercialization of their persona.

Rat seems alright. But I don't think the guy that came up with the jambalaya calculator needs to be talking shite. Sounds like he's jealous someone figured out a way to monetize their knowledge.

He definitely hasn’t disappeared. He has a cookbook coming out soon, sometime in November I think. He’s been doing a lot but it’s been more behind the scenes stuff that you will see later as opposed to posting videos on Facebook.

He seems to just be reposting his older recipes on social media. While they look good, there’s only so many home cooked recipes one can post when sticking to a Cajun-influence

You're an idiot that doesn't know how to cook if you have to watch a video on meat ball stew and think you have to watch a video of how to roux.
